Behind the Real Impact: Stories of FPCs in the Field

Real Work. Real People. Real Impact.
Behind every impactful initiative at 1000 Days Fund, there are passionate individuals working tirelessly in the field — our Field Program Coordinators (FPCs).
For them, the role is more than just coordinating and implementing programs. It’s about building trust with communities, supporting health workers, and being part of a collective journey toward a stunting-free future.
Each day brings new lessons — from learning how to communicate with a mother who is speech-impaired, to adapting approaches so that messages of nutrition and health are truly understood. These moments, though challenging, are powerful reminders of why we do this work.
The field teaches patience, creativity, and empathy. But most importantly, it teaches that real change happens when we listen, connect, and collaborate deeply.
With the support of teammates, the FPC experience becomes more than a job — it becomes a shared mission rooted in purpose and belonging.
While this story shines a light on our amazing team in Manggarai Barat, we’re just as grateful for the unwavering dedication of our FPCs working across all other regions where 1000 Days Fund is present. Their commitment, resilience, and heart are what drive our collective impact.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more stories from the field — stories of commitment, compassion, and quiet impact that deserve to be told. Stay tuned. There’s so much more to celebrate.
